Just 400 metres from Broadbeach Mall, Carmel by the Sea features a hot tub and an indoor pool. It is located across Pratten Park and Broadbeach Beach. Free parking is provided.

The modern, self-contained apartments come with a full kitchen, en suite bathroom with spa bath, laundry facilities and 8 hours of free Wi-Fi. All apartments have a lounge area with an iPod dock, a DVD player and a flat-screen TV. Guests can enjoy views of the surroundings from their private balcony.

Guests can work out in the fitness centre or unwind in the sauna room. The property also has a tennis court, a sun terrace and barbecue facilities.

Large rooms with comfortable bed

The common property was clean and looked tended to everyday. The pool is great. Very clean and clear. There is a large BBQ area and full size tennis court.

Lovely location and view. Nice pool and BBQ area

Towels in room small and not overly plush/soft. No bath mat. A second tea towel would have been good.

« Magnifique! »

Cet hôtel est fantastique ! L'emplacement est idéal : proche de la plage, des parcs de jeux, du centre de broadbeach et à 10 minutes à pied de pacific fair! L'appartement est magnifique: spacieux avec tout le nécessaire pour se sentir comme chez soi et avec une vue à couper le souffle ! Nous avons même vu passer des baleines depuis la terrasse!

L'hôtel a été en travaux pendant une partie de notre séjour donc il y a eu parfois du bruit mais nous espérons que du coup, il sera encore plus beau quand nous reviendrons

Fine for 1 or 2 days, but longer definitely not.

Overall, the accommodation was quite nice. However, there was a few things that need major improvement and other things. What are just ridiculous. Overall, the room was acceptable and as shown But. There is a few things that I will address in the I do not like part.

This is to address the issues with the property. First off, I was quite shocked to find. The only cooling for the actual bedrooms was a silling fan. And we found that rather unusual compared to most of the hotels on the Gold Coast area, there was only a TV in the Living room & in the master bedroom, not the other 2 rooms. Additionally, in the master bedroom, the spa is extremely old and it is obvious. The jets made significant maintenance or the pump needs to be replaced as when it is filled the Jets Are extremely weak. Also. To address a more important thing, what we booked was described as a (( high level room. )) Being this is a 30 story building. We would estimate at least level 15. Which would be about halfway up the building, but apparently to them, it only acquitted to a level 11 Which was very disappointing, although we still had a view of the beach, it wasn't what we expected it to be. The other thing, which I thought was rather unusual. Unlike most hotels on the goal coast, this one requests a security deposit to be paid for our room. It was only $250, so not a big deal. However, if you stay in the sub. Penthouse. Which? We calculated would be more or less the same price that we paid for the number of days. It would be a $1000. For some families, even in a large group, this is not a small amount of money and it is extremely unusual contrary to what the hotel believes. And they are extremely stingy on basic things for the rooms like laundry powder. Which they only go to packets for the entire 4 days that will there. And 2 dishwashing tablets and 2 dishwashing liquids. That is according to their book would have to be paid For at reception. Then something else. But we thought was very poor for any hotel. Absolutely. No tissues were provided even a basic hotel provides tissues. But apparently not this one. It might be only something very small, but it shows the level of stinginess. We understand by the Handbook.

Great stay at Carmel by the Sea

My friend and I stayed in a 2 BR 2 bathroom apartment It was spacious, comfortable, clean with great aircon The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious with great shower pressure Staff were excellent. It was a short walk to catch the train into Surfers for a couple of dollars. Parking was secure at no extra charge. We have already booked to come back in June. Totally recommend to others.

A beautiful and relaxing girls getaway with gorgeous views.

Beautiful location, close by to transport, shopping café’s & restaurants also all within walking distance. Staff were super accommodating when we arrived early and held our bags for us until check in. Plenty of room and facilities were great. A longer stay is definitely on the to do list.

The shower door didn’t have the plastic water catcher on the bottom of the door so water ran straight onto to floor where you stepped out. We also found a bandaid in the bed ????. Also a few stray hairs in the carpet - shag style. All in all small things that are easily amended.

Very luxurious stay , close to everything! Couldn’t ask for a better location and accommodation

Pool area! Spa ! Very spacious and great view

There was not any pepper and salt ! And the shower amenities were very poor
